Insanely and unbelievably expensive for portion sizes that can't be described as anything other than offensive. 50+ dollars without tip for a to go order and when I opened that bag at home, I was absolutely flabbergasted with the size of the portions of what we ordered. Both of us were still completely hungry after. Do yourself a favor and go to Thai Pan in Leesburg. Double the portion sizes for literally half the price, and honestly better taste. Ridiculous. Shame on you Aiyara Thai.
Delicious Thai food and great service. I meet friends here on weeknight evenings, and it is always a quiet and comfortable atmosphere.
We were catering for a party of about 30, so ordered carryout dishes. Had a very particular crowd, so needed dishes to be vegetarian, with some special dishes for folks with even greater dietary restrictions. Cookie was very helpful and accommodating, with all the variations on the dishes. The food was carefully made to the order, quality was excellent and received compliments from everyone! I am glad we over-ordered, I get to eat the extra for the next few days! They even threw in extra orders of mango sticky rice for us which disappeared very quickly. I would definitely order from them again, they are now my staple for thai food in Leesburg.
My wife and I had a very delicious dinner here back in the fall. The staff was friendly and attentive without hovering. There was more food than I could eat and the price was pretty reasonable for a sit down restaurant. It looked like a place that used to be something else but it was clean and we enjoyed our dinner. Would definitely go back if I was in the area.
Tends to be a little spicier but wow it was amazing.
This place is amazing. Don’t let the outside fool you, the food is delicious. When they say something is spicy, they are serious. I like the chicken madness or crying tiger and highly recommend either if you also like things fairly spicy.
This is the second time my husband and I have ordered from this restaurant and we were disappointed both times. We were hopeful that the first experience was a one off, since there are so many positive reviews. Our shrimp pad thai today was swimming in oil and was very bland. The chicken tom kai soup had a piece of fat not trimmed from the chicken, that I unfortunately bit into as I was eating. We will definitely choose another Thai restaurant next time.
I love the food here and keep going back! Order wisely, though, because some of it is on the spicy side!
One of my favorite places to get quality food. Have some of the best pad tai I've ever had and is super accomidating with food allergies. Staff is always friendly.
Very good Thai restaurant. Good selection of food. Fast service and reasonable prices.
We have been to Aiyara many times. It's good and is usually very fast. Any recommendation would be for the servers to not use the table closest to the door for whatever. Its usually a mess.
I would highly recommend this Thai restaurant, they have excellent customer service. Great food and lovely bar.
Had never been to Thai food before but I will keep coming back here. Really friendly employees and great food. The duck was really tasty.
The food and service were ahead of our expectations. We truly loved the vibes of this spot. Superb restaurant to take the family out for lunch.
This place has the best Pad Thai that you'll taste anywhere in the DC metro area. Their menu has wonderful options, all authentic Thai recipes, not the fusion kind...and you have a choice of getting spicy, or extra spicy!! Do try their drunken noodles too. They have buffet lunch for weekends. Parking isn't an issue, and the staff is really nice. If you like Thai food, you gotta try this place!
This is a fantastic restaurant with the best Thai food I've had anywhere. The service is consistently outstanding - unusually so. There are 5 star restaurants that could take some cues from these waitresses. The cost is also very reasonable for this area. Good value, great food, awesome service.
Prior to the change of management this was my go-to for Thai food in Leesburg. It was fantastic with an authentic flavor profile and great service. Back then I had previously given this restaurant 5 stars. Now with the change in management, the food quality has dropped in a noticeable way. The food is now bland. They are also less willing to make changes to the food. For example, my wife loves Thai fried rice with cashews, but doesn’t like the pineapple that normally comes with it. Previously they were happy to remove the pineapple and add cashews of the dish didn’t come with them. Now they make a big fuss over it. We have since started going to the Thai Pan restaurant for our Thai food fix in Leesburg. If you’re thinking of coming here, go there instead.
Food was not bad. One lady was serving everyone so she was pretty busy. Looks kinda dumpy from the outside and not much better on the inside, but I'm coming for the food, not the decor. Prices could have been a little cheaper IMHO. Still, not bad and we would eat here again.
I think this place is closed? I tried calling for delivery, but no one answered the phone for over a half hour. We had some Pad Thai delivered a few weeks back and it was pretty decent. Weird that they ignore their phones.
Best, most authentic Thai restaurant.
Closed on a Friday at 7:30PM with no explanation or relevant signage. Not sure if they are permanently closed.
Very good authentic Thai food in town..very good service.
We have eaten at Thai restaurants throughout the area and many are very good. This one is our new favorite. These folks use the freshest and highest quality ingredients. I am a serious seafood fan and found their shrimp super fresh and not at all overcooked as is the norm everywhere else. My wife tells me the pork in the excellent Pad Thai she had was of significantly better quality than our usual Thai restaurant. This is our new "go to" Thai Restaurant.
Fantastic enjoyable Thai food. Wish it wasn't so far from our house we would love to come more!
Very friendly service, good food. The spicy eggplant was excellent!
NEW COOK! NEW MANAGEMENT! BEWARE! This used to be our favorite restaurant in Leesburg. We gave it five stars and went weakly. The new chef cooks greasy, unflavorful food. We tried the new management out several times, hoping it was growing pains. It's not. We won't be back.
1st time visit for carryout and was pleased. Ordered the Tom Kha Soup and it was very good with the right amount of heat. Also ordered the Nam Sod and as equally happy. Pretty restaurant inside.
I love this place but the portions are small and the prices are high
Only tried one meal, Spicy basil with shrimp. Good flavor but devoid of vegetables. Lot of rice.
Ordered pickup for Pad Thai and the Yellow Curry - it was amazing! The folks at Aiyara were very kind and we thoroughly enjoyed our food. We will definitely be return customers and recommend them to others.
I wish I would've reviewed this place before it changed owners - I guess I thought it would always be the same, even under new mgmt. The buffet carried over with the new owners; and at the same price, but the variety of food is less than before; and Americanized, less authentic. There are other little things, too - a sign on the outer door warning food wasters they'll be charged extra; and small cameras around the restaurant that never were there before . Today, someone turned the bathroom light out as i was using a stall, plunging me into darkness before I had the chance to call out! As a result, I realized today this restaurant now makes me feel anxious -because I don't feel welcome. All the little cost-saving measures make me feel weighed and measured; watched too closely - and it's not worth it. I'll miss it, but then again, I'm missing what hasn't been there for a while - the old restaurant that had food I liked; servers who knew me on sight, and a sense of welcome when I dined.
This is an update on 6-28-20. We freaking love this place! They were closed in January and we thought they went out of business. So we tried another until we saw the open sign all of a sudden. The other place did not compare and I don't know what some reviewers are talking about because the portions are great here! The food is by far the best we've had. I'd like to see people make thai food and see how hard and expensive it is lol. Delicious food! Very clean and well decorated. Staff is very friendly as well!
Love this place, new owners are awesome! Menu upgrades include some fantastic authentic Thai items including a great papaya salad. Its great this place isnt afraid to make things spicy!
Aiyara is only about five minutes from my house so I have been a semi regular since they first opened. I've been to Thailand twice visiting family members living there and we all agree Aiyara serves authentic and very tasty Thai food. The menu has changed a bit under the new owner but my old favorites are still on the menu (and the servings are huge IMO). They actually added Thai "street food" for real aficionados and the service is still great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to friends and family.
Wonderful food. Quiet atmosphere. Friendly, kind staff..
Very good value any day of the week but Tuesday the buffet is especially good if you want to eat a lot. Generally grilled meat dishes are really tasty and never dried out. Everything is always fresh. Warm, friendly service with prices in the range you'd expect, good on the wallet.
One of the best Mexican restaurant in town, the dishes are so great and tasty while the place do showcase the culture of Mexico plus the crew were nice and friendly.
Stopped for lunch. I asked if the soy sauce was wheat-based and the girl knew immediately that I was asking about gluten free. She told me my choices on the menu. I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was! There were three of us and we were all pleased with our dishes!
Food is excellent! I had lava chicken which which was very crispy even after taking it home. I will go there again.
Excellent food! I have had BBQ pork, Pad Thai, Crispy beef, chicken satay, spring rolls, and Thai tea. All top shelf. Not one complaint.
Was actually there about a month ago first time. REALLY like that you can chose different styles of papaya salad and couple of other dishes. Its a good portion size which means, leftovers for me. I always believe food tastes better when its made with love; this is definitely one of the places.
Aiyara Thai serves superior Thai food. The dishes are excellent, and the menu is complete, creative and fairly priced. The food is extremely fresh, generously portioned, and where possible, locally sourced. Every detail is carefully thought out and executed. We have been driving a half hour to Aiyara Thai once a week since they opened, and we have always been delighted with the restaurant! A must go!! :)
Great food, service, and atmosphere! We are back for the second time. Everything was excellent, again. I highly recommend this Thai restaurant.
Great Thai food. Really varied menu and very reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly.Be sure to try the wasabi dumplings.
Delicious food and very nice people!
Best Thai food I've had in NoVa. Want it spicy? You'll actually get it spicy! The drive to Leesburg is worth it.
Good and spicy!! Caution on the Thai hot, know what you are getting yourself into and prepare to sweat it out. We've only tried them for takeaways.
Guay jub I like the way they cook, Test like famous restaurants in Thailand, I feel like I eat in Thailand.
This place is elegant and little bit price for a meal, however if you really are looking for a descent meal then this is the place to go...
This place is our favorite Thai place in the area!! The food is always fresh and really tasty! The crispy basil shrimp is out of this world. The papaya salad and beef salad is always ordered with our lunch/dinner! Would highly recommend this place.
